Job Description

  • Ability to manage a Flow Testing customer location without supervision
  • Ability to supervise up to 4 crew members
  • Ability to perform effective and timely shift changes
  • Identify, resolve, and support crew and shift needs
  • Mentor and train personnel
  • Review and document employee performance
  • Ability to relieve Flow Testing Supervisor II on lower profile wells (prior manager approval required)
  • Support supervisor / cross shift
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Consistently demonstrate knowledge of all local and federal laws
  • Expert Ability to rig up and rig down equipment
  • Expert knowledge of Flow Testing principles
  • Expert knowledge of separation process
  • Responsible for proper equipment performance and maintenance ensuring units are in safe and proper working condition
  • Expert ability and knowledge of operating pressure tank equipment jobs
  • Expert ability and knowledge of operating wells up to 10,000psi (shut in pressure)
  • Expert ability and knowledge of operating sour wells
  • Operate multiple pieces of equipment on location during a job
  • Provide multiple services on location during jobs
  • Accurately manage onsite fluids
  • Strong technical and mechanical abilities
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment
  • Demonstrate high work quality and commitment to health, safety, and environment
  • Responsible for identifying and reporting safety issues, perform follow up as necessary
  • Proper completion of safety paperwork daily
  • Responsible for incident management
  • Contribute to the evaluation and communication of project with both client and manager
  • Working knowledge of FIRE software
  • Establish and maintain communication with clients on location
  • Communicate consistently and effectively with Flow Testing Supervisors, Lead Supervisor and Manager
  • Financial accountability for each shift, including equipment
  • Responsible for the daily reporting of costs
  • Responsible to ensure all equipment on location is up to date with current inspections and certifications
  • Responsible to ensure all required field inventories are accurately reported and submitted by set deadlines
  • Ensure timekeeping is reported as required
  • Attend field / shop safety meetings when requested
  • Practice good housekeeping on location
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

You are meant for this job if:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.  Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of education, if candidate successfully completes an aptitude and reading comprehension assessment in the pre-employment process.
  • Valid and current driver license with acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Above average knowledge and understanding of oil field and Flow Testing operations
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • At least 3 years Flow Testing experience
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred
  • Excellent leadership ability
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Above average computer skills with the flexibility to quickly learn new software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers  
  • Able to analyze and resolve problems 
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Self-Starter
  • Ability to consistently perform in a professional manner
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet each project deadline
  • Consistently practice safe driving
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including away from home
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to support operations in other areas when required
