Yard Rigger - Pemba

Job Purpose

• The Yard Rigger is responsible for all rigging activity at yard and quay side. The Rigger reports to the Yard Foreman assistant and Yard Forman

Job Description

• Performs rigging works in accordance with company standard, safety and quality best practices;
• Verifies that the equipment and materials are in good and safe operating conditions and reports any anomaly to the Yard Foreman;
• Ensures the housekeeping of the work location;
• During mobilization activities, assists the logistics department during operations as required;
• May undertake other non-rigging yard activities directed such as maintenance and/or repair of support equipment;

You are meant for this job if:

• Accredited Rigging certification and lifting or equivalent;
• 3-year experience in Rigging activities;
