Job Purpose

Responsible for the implementation of TechnipFMC Security Management system in Mozambique. Directs all security operations to support TechnipFMC local entity and Projects and safeguard Company personnel, operations, assets and/or reputation.

Job Description

• Executes role and responsibilities as specified within Security Global Practice Standards and in the overall interests of the business 

• Implement and execute the Security Global Practice Standards within Mozambique

• Manage, train and mentor Local Security Coordinators within Mozambique

• Develop and maintain exchanges and communication with local Security counterparts (Partners – Vendors – Clients – Contractors)

• Supports Projects by conducting Security Threat, Risk and Vulnerability Assessments, developing security plans, advise and implement cost-effective security solutions

• Collect and analyse Security information to identify new, or changing threats and risks that can affect company Personnel, Operations, Assets and / or Reputation within Mozambique

• Provide Subject Matter Expertise to Local business leaders and project management teams

• Educate personnel on Threats and Risks and subsequent prevention and mitigation measures

• Maintains administration related to the above tasks and responsibilities

You are meant for this job if:

Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a related discipline i.e. Criminal Justice, Security Management, and / or substantial proven progressive experience and responsibility (minimum of 5 years) in a security management role, preferably within the Oil & Gas Industry

• In possession of a valid Subject Matter qualification such ASIS CPP or CSMP (or equivalent)

• Proven experience in conducting Security Threat, Risk and Vulnerability Assessments

• Proven experience in threat based and intelligence led security

• Proven experience in designing and implementing cost-effective integrated Security Risk reduction strategies and solutions • Proven experience in collecting and analyzing information

• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and proficiency in English (written and spoken)

• Communication, interpersonal skills and proficiency in Portuguese is a plus(Spoken) 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background screening

• Must be able to successfully pass a drug screening test

• Must be able to successfully pass a reference check

• Ex-military or ex-police candidates must be able to provide proof of honorable discharge
