Job Purpose

Act in the operation and planning of ROV activities aiming at quality, safety, minimizing costs, meeting deadlines and goals pre-established for the project.

Job Description

- Assist in documentation and provide the necessary support to the supervision for the development of Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) operations.

- Participate in maintenance and administrative work at the company's support base, providing support for existing contracts or in the preparation of new contracts, when necessary;

- Suggest technical improvements for the ROV system;

- Contribute to the development of new team members in theoretical and practical procedures for operation, maintenance and safety, seeking to disseminate the policy, procedures and practices used in the ROV;

- Participate in the execution of maintenance, inventory management, operations and project improvements on board in a practical manner, maintaining individual and equipment safety;

- Operate the ROV system following company procedures, launch the vehicle into the sea, define trajectories, assess distances by piloting it through remote operation and based on navigation instruments arranged on the control panel; monitor sensors and behavior and positioning alarms, communicating with the teams involved in the operation; inspect underwater structures and equipment; generate images, rescuing, positioning and connecting parts in underwater equipment; operate valves; cut cables, lines and underwater structures; blast marine incrustations; install sealing rings in wells; inject hydraulic fluids into valves; collect soil samples and perform other relevant activities to enable interventions that may be necessary in underwater structures. At least meet the operations indicated in the company's competency map for Full Pilot;

- Act in mobilization/demobilization of ROV systems for new contracts;

- Assist in the preparation of technical instructions for maintenance and execution inherent to ROV operation.

Experience with ROV, maintenance and piloting.

Completed technician in: - Mechanics; Electrical / Electronics; Electrotechnics; Industrial Automation; Electromechanics; Mechatronics;

Professional registration required: CFT
