Job Purpose

  • Managing HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) activities for one or more assets or complex projects (involving multiple interfaces and assets), monitoring, or managing HSE department activities. Based on the Group’s internal policies and rules, as well as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IOGP standards.
  • Identifying legal and contractual HSE requirements, defining the necessary resources to meet these prerequisites, ensuring the development of relevant documentation, and disseminating practices, rules, and HSE culture among employees to ensure compliance with customer and Group needs in accordance with legal requirements and ensuring a safe and sustainable work environment.

Job Description

  • Encouraging Communication and Best Practices: Foster good communication, encourage reporting of deviations, and facilitate interdisciplinary exchange of experiences. Decentralize responsibilities for implementing HSE routines in each activity to ensure the application of best operational practices.
  • Identify Hazards and Risk Analysis: Promote hazard identification and risk analysis in different project areas and stages. Ensure the adoption of control measures compatible with the identified risk level and keep them updated.
  • Support Group and Project/Asset HSE Objectives: Ensure the implementation and support of the Group’s and project/asset’s HSE objectives.
  • Compliance with Standards and Legal Requirements: Continuously adhere to Group standards, legislation, and contractual requirements.
  • Training and Dissemination: Promote training based on HSE policies and procedures. Disseminate HSE concepts and tools to enhance employee capabilities and foster a preventive culture.
  • Inspections and Audits: Conduct HSE inspections and audits in projects, sites, and with suppliers. Verify compliance with legal requirements, Group standards, and client expectations based on international HSE norms. Provide necessary information to the HSE Directorate or Project/Asset Manager for decision-making.
  • Managing the budget of your area, contributing to the fulfillment of the budget related to expenses and personnel.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Engineering degree.
  • CREA.
  • Fluent English and Portuguese.
  • Desirable 10 years of experience in the area.
  • QHSE process knowledge on sites or project.
  • Area of ​​Specialization: Occupational Safety or Environment.
