Job Purpose

Perform welding activities on metal parts and structures, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with technical standards and procedures, contributing to operational efficiency and the reliability of TechnipFMC’s services.

Job Description

  • Perform welding on metal parts and structures according to technical drawings, procedures, and welding instructions.
  • Execute welding using the SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) process.
  • Differential: skills in MIG/MAG and TIG processes.
  • Prepare joints for welding (beveling, cleaning, aligning parts).
  • Select appropriate electrodes, wires, and gases for the process.
  • Adjust welding machine parameters according to EPS (Welding Procedure Specification).

You are meant for this job if:

  • High school diploma (technical education is a plus).
  • Professional welding course (SENAI or equivalent) in SMAW – mandatory.
  • 4G certification (flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions) – desirable.
  • Knowledge of different metals (carbon steel, stainless steel) and surface preparation.
  • Skills with cutting equipment (torch, plasma), grinders, and sanders.
  • Strong knowledge of PPE usage and regulatory standards (NR-34, NR-35, NR-33).
