JR LAY ENGINEER

Job Purpose

• Develops and ensures implementation of Operation Execution Plan on a given project, in accordance with Industry and Company Standards, Project Execution Plan and Procedures.

Job Description

• OFFSHORE POSITION

• Reviews Offshore Works related operational procedures.

• Supports Project Operation Manager on operational procedures development within Project Execution Plan.

• Checks material supply cycle adequacy with project schedule and budget constraints.

• Coordinates interfaces with Engineering Department.

• Participates in assess tests/documentation consistency with Client’s specifications.

• Ensures effective communication between team and Project.

• Participates, together with Project Operation Manager, in the preparation of Readiness Review before starting Marine Operations.

• Collects and prepares documentation for the dossier on the project.

• Attends Engineering Review meetings and properly cascade information.

• Prepares documentation for Suppliers and Subcontractors selection.

• Attends meetings with Suppliers and Subcontractors in order to ensure their adequacy with Operational project needs.

• University degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical or similar Engineering.

• Knowledge about lauch equipaments and tools.

• Knowledge about slings and subsea operations.

• Basic knowledge of ROV functions and tools

• Knowledge of discipline tools and procedures

• Knowledge in Dynamic Positioning and references. 

• Knowledge about flexible pipe and line acessories.

• Knowledge of UTM and geographic coordinates.
