Job Description:

• Operate an automatic control system and perform calculations to determine welding parameters for low, medium, and high-complexity parts, entering them into the machine's memory for welding according to the Welding Procedure Specification (WPS).
• Position and center the part to be welded, ensuring the welding sequence complies with the WPS, as well as verifying the consumables to be used in the process. Handle instruments and devices to carry out activities, ensuring quality and safety within the expected timeframe.
• Ensure the welding sequence by verifying compliance with the definitions established in the welding sketches and WPS.
• Ensure material cleaning and preheating according to the WPS to eliminate contaminants that could interfere with the welding process.
• Monitor the welding process, making adjustments when necessary, and propose improvements to the process area based on the history of completed work.

You are meant for this job if:

• High school or technical education completed
• Conventional welding course in TIG, MIG, MAG processes
• Ability to operate welding machines using the Clad process, with Arc Specialties or Fronius models
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in clad welding or similar equipment
• Mechanical aptitude and strong mathematical skills
• Knowledge and proficiency with measuring instruments
• Skilled in operating machines and tools, as well as precision measuring tools
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
• Computer skills, including knowledge of Fronius machine operation programming
