We are looking for a Senior Engineer - Installation Engineering!

Job Description

As an Installation Engineer you will execute engineering tasks for all phases from early business development, through tender, FEED and study work, and all the way until project execution.
You will get the opportunity to follow projects from start to finish; from establishing offshore procedures in the office to joining the vessel for offshore operations.
Throughout the course of a project, the Installation Engineer is expected to interface with a range of internal or external stakeholders including the project team, the procurement team, the operational team, internal center of expertise, the client and suppliers. Such interfaces may occur through technical or risk review meetings, or during the follow up of more operational phases of the project, on site or offshore. 
The Installation Engineering department focuses on the installation of structures, umbilicals, flexible flowlines, rigid pipes, rigid spools, protection covers and other subsea assets.

     

Typical tasks:
•    Prepare and establish detailed installation methods and procedures
•    Plan and participate in activities associated with mobilizations and demobilizations of our vessels for marine operations 
•    Plan and participate in offshore operations to ensure work is executed in accordance with project procedure 
•    Participate in technical and safety reviews
•    Create equipment list for procurement and delivery to the vessel
•    Prepare technical drawings and other technical deliverables
•    Travel may be required for meetings, site visits and offshore
 

You are meant for this job if:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Marine Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Subsea Technology or equivalent
  • 3-15 years of experience working with subsea installation projects
  • Enthusiasm for engineering, technology and problem solving
  • Good communications and organizational skills
  • Enjoy following a project from start to finish 
  • Can work independently and be a good team player
  • Enjoy working operationally and with a hands-on attitude
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
