We are looking for a Junior Supplier Quality Engineer!

We are seeking a dedicated Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support our projects by planning and executing quality risk mitigation activities, with a special focus on piping, plastic, welding, forging, and tubing products. 

Job Description

As a Junior Supplier Quality Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and coordinating Quality Surveillance activities to ensure suppliers meet project requirements.
  • Participating in Package Criticality and Supplier Risk Assessments.
  • Preparing Quality Surveillance plans.
  • Attending Pre-Production and weekly project team meetings.
  • In case of Nonconformities, working with the suppliers to develop effective Corrective Action Plans, reporting on supplier performance and lessons learned.

  

You will report to the Supplier Quality Manager and be part of the European Supplier Quality Team. The position is based in the TechnipFMC Lysaker office, with an estimated 25% travel within Norway and Europe for supplier surveillance activities. The role offers competitive remuneration according to the TechnipFMC position grading system.
 

You are meant for this job if:

 

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, we encourage recent graduates to apply
  • You have motivation to grow your experience in Quality Engineering, Supplier Development and Supply Chain .
  • Additional experience with Supply Chain Management, Lean Manufacturing, or Process Improvement is a plus.
  • You are fluent in spoken and written English and Norwegian.
  • You have strong collaboration skills and can work independently and systematically.
  • You have problem-solving skills and understand the business impact of your work.
  • You have strong presentation and communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • You are legally able to work and reside in Norway without sponsorship.
  • You are curious of how things work and why sometimes they may fail to meet requirements
