Data Management Engineer

Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Steward to join TechnipFMC. As a Data Steward, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing data assets. 

Job Description

The main responsabilities are:

  1. Data Extraction, Loading, and Transformation (ELT):
    • Collaborate with data engineers to map and extract data from various sources (databases, APIs, files).
    • Support transformation and cleansing of data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
    • Support data loading into our data warehouse (Snowflake).
  2. Cataloging:
    • Maintain a comprehensive data catalog, documenting data sources, schemas, and metadata.
    • Ensure data lineage and traceability.
  3. Data Analytics:
    • While data analytics is not the core of this role, you may occasionally assist data analysts, building the necessary data models and/or dashboards.
    • Familiarity with SQL, Powerbi, Sigma Computing, or other relevant tools is a plus.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Familiarity with ELT processes and tools (e.g., AWS, Qlik, Snowflake).
  • Strong attention to detail and data quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with data governance principles.
  • Experience with EPCI, Engineering and Manufacturing contexts is a plus.
