Job Description

· Under the direction of a Project Engineer, help establish project plans, timetables, and resource allocations.

· Help make technical documents including drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and progress reports. To make sure that engineering standards and project criteria are met, you should take part in site inspections, equipment checks, and safety audits.

· Help keep an eye on and keep track of project milestones, finances, and deliverables to make sure they stay on track.

· Work with teams from other departments, such as design, purchasing, construction, and quality assurance, to get project feedback and help with implementation.

· Do basic data analysis, write reports, and make sure engineering dashboards are up to date as needed.

· Help set up meetings, write down what happens, and follow up on things that need to be done.

· Learn how to use useful engineering software applications like AutoCAD, MS Project, SolidWorks, and others. Follow and practise health, safety, and environmental rules that are common in the business.

Job Purpose

We're looking for a Project Engineering Intern that is detail-driven and pays attention to detail to join our team. This internship lets you work on real-world projects, engineering documentation, and cross-functional collaboration in real-world experience in engineering. The ideal candidate for the job will be a recent engineering graduate who is excited to learn about all the steps in a project's life cycle, from conception to completion.

You are meant for this job if:

· Bachelors or master’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial or other related Engineering discipline.

· Basic understanding of project management principles and engineering design principles

· Proficient in the use of office suites such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Familiarity with engineering tools is a plus.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication.

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
