Job Purpose

To provide cost management by overseeing all financial aspects of Subsea Oil and Gas projects. This role ensures accurate forecasting, budgeting, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle, enabling informed decision-making and safeguarding profitability. Acting as the primary point of accountability for cost performance, the position drives compliance with financial standards, optimizes resource allocation, and delivers transparent reporting to stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Set up cost control procedures and project budgets, including tools to track costs.
  • Estimate total forecasts, quantities, costs, and expected outcomes.
  • Provide support to Risk Manager for quantitative risk analysis.
  • Approve commitment control and vendor/subcontractor invoices.
  • Assist Project Managers in optimizing and improving budgeted profits.
  • Prepare and follow up on change orders and claims.
  • Generate monthly internal Project Management Reviews (PMR) and external client status reports.
  • Develop monthly cash flow forecasts.
  • Produce statistical and close-out reports to improve estimation tools for future projects.

You are meant for this job if:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent

• 4 to 5 years of experience in related field

• Professional English

• Knowledge of cost control tools and methodologies

• Solid analytical and problem solving skills

• Establish good relationship and cooperation with colleagues in the project team
