Job Description

Reviewing, drafting, negotiating and managing of customer revenue contracts within the scope of Surface Technologies, in compliance with TechnipFMC’s Policies and Standards.

Support the Tender, Proposal and the Sales group in the contractual activities associated with client’s tender requirements including all associated subcontract requirements from receipt of tender enquiry to contract award. 

Support the Project group on contractual matters during the contract execution phase when so required.

Support the Surface Technologies APAC management team in the identification and assessment of contractual risks, and when applicable, prepare and distribute Deviation Approval Forms in order to obtain the appropriate written approvals for any deviations from the TechnipFMC Bid-It Standard.

Manage, coordinate and follow-up all corporate, contractual and legal related matters in relation to the APAC region.

Support the Surface Technologies APAC management team, as well as the TechnipFMC Legal Operations and Corporate Legal department in relation to local regulations and corporate/secretarial matters for local entities.

Manage, maintain, and upload all assigned contractual and commercial documentation within TechnipFMC’s proprietary Salesforce system or equivalent.

Job Purpose

  •    Leading the review, negotiation, and administration of all contracts with existing and potential TechnipFMC customers in order to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and TechnipFMC Policies and  Standards,taking a leadership role in communicating and negotiating agreements with clients and having the ability to effectively lead a negotiation with no supervision; and 

·  Manage, coordinate and follow-up all corporate, contractual and legal related matters in relation to the APAC region (and others as needed), including but not limited to agreements with local agents, distributors, local partners, etc. which may be required by local lawand/or from a strategic point of view, and entity and facilities compliance with the applicable local law. The Contracts Manager will be supported in this task as required by TechnipFMC Legal Operations and Corporate Legal departments.

You are meant for this job if:

Bachelor’s Degree in Law.

Between five (5) to twelve (10) years’ experience in oil&gas commercial/contracts. 

Minimum three (3) years’ experience working in APAC in the oil&gas industry

Analytical and problem-solving, operational minded, works well under pressure. Interprets internal and external business challenges with impact on the organization and recommends best practice solutions.

Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

Capacity to coordinate with various departments on several non-related matters. 

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Indonesian (another language such as French or Mandarin would be a plus).
