Subsea Control Unit - Project Engineer
For our global SCU team within Controls & Automation we are looking for a motivated engineering professional to join our diverse team of highly competent engineers.
In Controls & Automation we execute subsea control system project deliveries, including design, engineering, fabrication, and system integration. The Subsea Control Unit (SCU) is a topside located unit that provides operator control and monitoring of subsea wells and manifolds.
Job Description
- Be the responsible engineer for the Subsea Control Unit (SCU) in delivery projects
- Take charge of the SCU detailed engineering during project execution, including preparation of SCU software functionality specifications, SCU cabinet hardware specifications, and other technical documentation
- Be the technical point of contact towards the SCU 3rd party supplier, ensuring delivery in accordance with our design input
- Witness the SCU Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at the SCU 3rd party supplier's facility to verify SCU functionality and HMI graphics
- Support the Extended Factory Acceptance Test (EFAT) for the SCU part executed at TechnipFMC's facility
- Collaborate closely with the global multidisciplinary project team
- Participate in technical reviews and workshops
- Some travel will be required
Requirements
• Hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, or other relevant education, within Control Systems, Automation Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• Preferably have 2-10 years of work experience within Control System Engineering
• Can handle a 3rd party SCU supplier
• Can support the Controls Lead Engineer in interactions with the Client
• Have high level of autonomy in task execution
• Are analytical and have excellent attention to details
• Are solution oriented and structured in your approach to complex challenges
• Are proactive and continuously learn from every situation
• Have relation building abilities and work well in a team-oriented environment
• Have excellent command of English, both written and spoken
This role location is TechnipFMC Kraków, al. Jana Pawła II and requires to work minimum 4 days/per week on-site from our office.
