Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Controls Product Engineer who want to join our Controls Aftermarket team in Krakow.  We are dedicated to enhancing our aftermarket support for installed subsea and topside controls systems. Our goal is to strengthen our Controls product support capabilities across our entire portfolio, with special focus on Network, UCOS, and Topside Controls Competency.

As a Controls Product Engineer, you will execute Controls Aftermarket Product Modifications, follow up and support Online Production Control Systems, and support the Aftermarket jobs related to product and support offshore jobs/campaigns.

This is a unique possibility to develop your technical skills and to get a a-z overview of the offshore operations.  

Job Description

  • Actively follow up and maintain Controls Aftermarket products.
  • Regular follow-up and support Online Production Control Systems.
  • Offer 1st line support to customers for troubleshooting and advice in operational modus for Control systems.
  • Regular interaction with internal and external customers.
  • Engage with customer to understand their needs and bring feedback to product management and development.
  • Identify potential system improvements and how to achieve through multidiscipline teams.
  • Prepare procedures, specifications, and drawings for offshore operations.
  • Travel regularly to Ågotnes and Kongsberg for training and execution of work.

You are meant for this job if:

  • You have a Degree in Engineering (BSc og MSc) within electro, automation, IT, petroleum, marine etc. OR equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven work experience with controls software systems, hydraulic and/or electrical systems.
  • And/or 5 years of experience with virtual systems, IT networks and communication protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively in a project environment.
