Senior Analysis Engineer

Job Responsibilities
- Works as a fully contributing member of a project team on complex projects requiring established technology and often leads projects or the solving of problems.
- Performing calculations such as: static structural, dropped object/impact, normal modes, buckling, fatigue, pressure integrity and sealability, weld/bolt strength calculations.
- Developing and validating simulation models using industry-standard FEA/CAE tools (such as: Ansys Mechanical, LS-DYNA, SDC Verifier, PVP, SACS and internal tools)
- Performing hand calculations and running sensitivity studies for different geometries and load combinations
- Performing studies of piping, beam, subsea structures, and frames
- Interpreting analysis results, and providing design recommendations
- Compiling feedback presentations and technical reports
- Cooperating globally with members from cross-functional teams to consult and resolve design challenges.
- Providing continuous mentoring and support to less experienced engineers
- Relating engineering solutions to cost and time.
Requirements

You have MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Machine Design, Civil and Structural Engineering or a related discipline.

You have around 4-6 years of experience

You are proficient working in ANSYS Mechanical (ANSYS 2023R1, 2022R2)

You have good knowledge of material strength, free-body diagrams, and mechanics.

You have excellent analytical skills

You show attention to detail and thoroughness.

You demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, orally and through written documentation.

You have good communication skills, team-player spirit, and a can-do attitude.
