RiSE Manager (Rigid Integrated Subsystem Engineering)

Job Purpose
As an RiSE Manager you will represent and be accountable for RiSE (Rigid Integrated Subsystem Engineering) making sure flawless deliveries of projects within this area.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage an engineering team and ensures the quantitative and qualitative adjustment of engineering resources according to project and/or operational needs.
- Develop the department by mentoring and coaching direct reports.
- Monitor and report the involvement and performance of engineering teams during projects.
- Actively participate in weekly Obeyas meetings, contributing to discussions and fulfilling the department's part.
- Identify opportunities for engineering process migrations.
- Overall responsibility for daily operations including maintaining operational efficiency, delivering service in line with the client’s expectations, managing workload and resources, ensuring allocation to projects and utilization.
- Manage and maintain the department to ensure that all the work performed in the group is planned and executed in accordance with TechnipFMC policies, procedures and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Responsible for technical content of work performed within the department.
- Development of team competences based on project needs and execution strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement within the area of responsibility to provide sufficient support.
- Direct the operations of the department within approved budgets and established TechnipFMC routines and instructions.
- Responsible for all HSE aspects within area of responsibility including authority and duty to stop ongoing work when there is a safety risk identified.
- Review and approve project designs and planning, ensuring they meet the required standards and objectives.
Required Qualifications

- BA/MA degree in Engineering (preferably Machine Design, Mechanical Engineering or similar).
- At least 5 years of experience in Product Design & Development.
- Knowledge of Rigid & Geotech and Installation & Construction products and services is an asset.
- Good communication skills, capable of solving technical issues.
