Job Purpose

We are looking for a motivated engineering professional to join our Controls & Automation Department in Krakow Engineering Center. As a Lead Engineer, you will be joining Application Engineering Team and be working on deliveries of subsea control units and auxiliaries and working in close cooperation with the Project Team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Defining system requirements for Controls Scope,
  • Working with Client’s requirements, standards and codes,
  • Design of complex subsea and topside equipment and systems,
  • Creating, maintaining and reviewing engineering documents such as: part reports, test procedures, assembly procedures, specifications, AutoCAD drawings etc.,
  • Contributing to technical meetings, creating meeting minutes and reports,
  • Following-up and coordinating other engineering disciplines (mechanical and electrical engineering) within the scope of supply,
  • Coordinating with other project team members,
  • Providing input to engineering documentation and project schedule.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in one of the engineering fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent,
  • Knowledge about Industrial control systems, instruments, power cabinets,
  • 4 years of relevant professional experience on similar position,
  • Knowledge of SAP, Teamcenter, AutoCAD or NX will be an asset,
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, process, hydraulic and electrical schematics,
  • Ability to effectively operate in the project team environment,
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Very good communication skills in English, both oral and written (minimum B2),
  • Willingness to travel to other TechnipFMC facilities.
