Job Purpose

To deliver Project Quality Engineering solutions to the Subsea Drilling Services business throughout the value stream ensuring that the requirements for project quality specifications and standards are met.

Job Description

  • To take ownership and responsibility for projects requiring Quality engineering support, managing tasks and reporting progress to Project Managers and Engineering Managers.
  • To operate as the Customer advocate.  To demonstrate strong Customer/3rd party inspector collaboration at all appropriate geographical locations. e.g Dunfermline, Nusajaya, Bergen
  • Understand customer contract requirements and apply those to or execute against TechnipFMC requirements via ITPs/Quality Plans/Quality Matrices/Quality Specifications
  • Creation and review of Quality technical documentation required for internal and external customers throughout the value stream (Tender/Projects/Service base)
  • Support Lean process and product development  improvements through Lessons Learned, Root Cause Analysis, other methods of Continuous Improvement used within the SDS Engineering function

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience within a quality function or engineering role
  • Problem solving; ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions, suggest and or implement recommendations to prevent re-occurrence
  • Can determine differences between client specifications, company interpretation, and industry standard code requirements during tender, project execution, and for technical problems arising throughout design
  • Demonstrated ability to guide engineers and project managers to assure they are operating in accordance to the quality management system
  • To plan, execute and report out on internal and external audits
  • Willingness to work 4 days in a week from our Krakow office
  • Business travel availability (a few times a year)
