Job Purpose

As an Intern in Vibrations Team at TechnipFMC Krakow you will be part of a strong team of experienced engineers representing different disciplines where mutual learning and support is regarded as one of our key success criteria. You will be working on international subsea equipment projects for Oil & Gas industry worldwide.

Responsibilities

•    Performing tasks related to the vibrations calculations (flow induced vibration, acoustic pulsation) using Ansys Mechanical software
•    Preparing models for FEA/CFD analyses
•    Creating documentation and reports related to executed studies
•    Assisting Computational Analysis Team in daily tasks 
 

Requirements

•    BSc or MSc degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, Civil Engineering or other related discipline)
•    Knowledge of mechanical principles, stresses and fatigue 
•    Practical experience with using MS Office, CAD and FEA/CFD software
•    Problem solving orientation and attention detail, accuracy and thoroughness
•    Good communication skills incl. fluent written and verbal communication in English (at least upper-intermediate/B2 level)
•    Ability to work as a team member in the international environment
•    Availability on the level of minimum 20 hours/week from our office in Kraków, Poland
 

Nice to have:

•    Knowledge about mechanical vibrations, understanding of frequency domains, understanding of PSD, experience in Harmonic Response, Acoustic Response and Modal Analyses
•    Skills in programming in Python
