Drafting Manager, Rigid & Geotech

Job Purpose
As a Drafting Manager you will be a part of Rigid & Geotech department and responsible for the drafting team delivering project commitments mainly within RiSE (Rigid in-line Structure Engineering).
Main Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for daily operations including maintaining operational efficiency, delivering service in line with the client’s expectations, managing workload and resources, ensuring allocation to projects and utilization.
- Managing demand and capacity by ensuring the team is right sized to meet forecast demand from projects, NPD and PLM, as alligned with Engineering.
- Manage and maintain the department to ensure that all the work performed in the group is planned and executed in accordance with TechnipFMC policies, procedures and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Responsible for technical content of work performed within the department.
- Development of team competences based on project needs and execution strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement within the area of responsibility to provide sufficient support.
- Direct the operations of the department within approved budgets and established TechnipFMC routines and instructions
- Authority and duty to stop ongoing work when there is a risk for problems related to HSE or quality performance.
Required Qualifications

- BA/MA degree in Engineering (preferably Machine Design, Mechanical Engineering or similar).
- At least 5 years of experience in Product Design & Drafting within Oil & Gas with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
- Knowledge of Rigid & Geotech products and services is an asset.
- Good communication skills, flexibility and good understanding of business.
