Design Engineer (Multi Phase Meters)

We are looking for a motivated engineering professional to join our Controls & Automation Department at Krakow Engineering Center. As a Design Engineer, you will be joining Application Engineering Team and working on deliveries of Multi Phase Meters and working in close cooperation with Controls CoE in Stavanger, Norway.  

Responsibilities

  • Designing products by design specifications and engineering standards
  • Cooperating with the assigned project team and other cross-functional teams
  • Defining and preparing product quality requirements
  • 3D models and drawings of single components and assemblies
  • Giving input to project engineering documentation, project budget, and schedule
  • Providing design input in technical meetings with Customers and Suppliers
  • Contributing to technical meetings, conducting design reviews meetings
  • Cooperating with other project team members

Requirements

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in one of the engineering fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience in CAD software
  • Experience in creating technical drawings for machining, welding, and fabrication will be a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP, Autodesk Inventor. Autodesk Vault, AutoCAD, or NX will be an asset
  • Junior position or 2 years of relevant professional experience will be an asset
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings,
  • Ability to effectively operate in the project team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Very good communication skills in English, both oral and written (minimum B2)
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to other TechnipFMC facilities.
