Job Purpose

As a Cost Controller, you will play a key role in supporting project teams by monitoring and forecasting project costs. Your work will ensure accurate financial tracking and help maintain project profitability.

This is a fixed-term contract for 18-months. 

Job Description

  • Establish and implement cost control procedures for assigned projects
  • Set up project budgets and tools to monitor and track actual costs
  • Support the preparation of total cost forecasts, quantity tracking, and expected financial outcomes
  • Collaborate with the Risk Manager to prepare quantitative risk analyses
  • Review and approve standard commitments and invoices from vendors and subcontractors
  • Prepare and follow up on change orders and claims
  • Generate monthly internal Project Management Review (PMR) reports and external client status reports
  • Develop and update monthly cash flow forecasts
  • Prepare statistical and close-out reports to improve future cost estimation and project planning
  • Ensure compliance with company and client HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) and Quality Management Systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, cost control, project finance, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional project teams.
