Cost Controller (Fixed term 18-months)

Job Purpose
As a Cost Controller, you will play a key role in supporting project teams by monitoring and forecasting project costs. Your work will ensure accurate financial tracking and help maintain project profitability.
This is a fixed-term contract for 18-months.
Job Description
- Establish and implement cost control procedures for assigned projects
- Set up project budgets and tools to monitor and track actual costs
- Support the preparation of total cost forecasts, quantity tracking, and expected financial outcomes
- Collaborate with the Risk Manager to prepare quantitative risk analyses
- Review and approve standard commitments and invoices from vendors and subcontractors
- Prepare and follow up on change orders and claims
- Generate monthly internal Project Management Review (PMR) reports and external client status reports
- Develop and update monthly cash flow forecasts
- Prepare statistical and close-out reports to improve future cost estimation and project planning
- Ensure compliance with company and client HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) and Quality Management Systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, cost control, project finance, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional project teams.
