Subsea Control System Engineer

In Controls & Automation we tender and execute subsea Control System deliveries. Our proprietary technologies provides functionality for monitoring and optimization of subsea Production and Intervention systems, enabling safe and efficient operations. With our expertise and comprehensive solutions, we challenge what’s possible. Every day.

We are currently seeking a subsea Controls System engineer who can strengthen our team and assist in the delivery of current and future projects within the O&G industry.

Job Description

In this role you will prepare the technical packages for studies, tenders and (pre)FEED/FEED proposals. You will be accountable for various engineering deliverables which may include study reports, specifications, design calculations, analyses and various 3rd-party submissions. You will be representing our Company towards clients for Controls scope of work, striving to understand their requirements. You will identify and address design challenges and propose optimal Control system solutions which will transform our clients’ project economics.

Requirements

  • You hold a university degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline (Electrical, Electronic and Computer are preferred).
  • You have knowledge and the ability to interpret the design codes used on subsea systems including API, ISO, DNV and others.
  • You have strong understanding of the system design and team approach. Understanding of the interdependency of the various elements and the required interfaces to support the subsea system solutions is crucial.
  • You have desire to branch out beyond Controls technical expertise, to learn and gain a better understanding of the other disciplines and thus a better understanding of entire subsea production system.
  • You are well versed in reading, evaluating, optimizing and creating P&IDs and Controls schematics. Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drafting application(s) is preferred.
  • You are able to set and meet deadlines and manage priorities.
