Category Lead

Job Purpose

Within a dynamic international team, your role will be to develops, executes and maintains a comprehensive sub-category strategy capable of delivering best in class results for assigned category at the global level. 

This role includes close collaboration with teams in the United States, which means the workload will be primarily in the afternoon hours. However, full alignment with standard U.S. working hours is not required.

Job Description

• Executes a comprehensive sub-category strategy ensuring delivery of best in class results for assigned category at the global level
• Proposes and executes actions and initiatives to drive improvements and qualifications required to support Category and Product project goals
• Leads assigned sourcing projects including identifying, assessing and onboarding potential new suppliers, negotiating, establishing and updating of supplier agreements
• Coordinates demand between suppliers, support tactical sourcing in execution issues
• Support related product development projects 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Engineering
• 3 years or more of experience in Sourcing/Procurement in Oil & Gas. Experience in others sector will be considered provided candidate has sufficient experience
• Develop and maintain business relationship. Internal and external communication skills 
• Negotiation skills
• Work in international environment
• Experience in OIl & Gas product development is a plus 
• Knowledge of electronical/electrical equipment is a plus
  
  
• Presence required in the Krakow office 4 days per week
