Job Purpose

Join us as a Category Lead and lead the development and execution of ethical and sustainable supply chain initiatives through strategic stakeholder engagement, budget oversight, and alignment with organizational values. In this role you will be a part of our Global Sourcing & Procurment and reporting to the Category Manager. 

Job Description

  • Develops and executes comprehensive sub-category strategies to achieve global targets in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, ensuring best-in-class performance
  • Leads sourcing initiatives, including the identification and evaluation of potential suppliers, negotiation of terms, and the creation and maintenance of supplier agreements
  • Defines capacity allocation and demand planning across products and sub-categories to ensure optimal supply chain performance
  • Coordinates supplier demand and supports tactical sourcing activities to ensure timely and efficient execution
  • Contributes to the development of sourcing budgets and business cases, and regularly reports on progress against strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience, minimum 3-5 years
  • Business or procurement-related education or certification, such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or equivalent
  • Strong experience in tendering and contract management, including drafting, evaluating, and negotiating supplier agreements
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Analytical and strategic thinking, with a focus on value creation and risk mitigation in procurement processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Good presentation and coaching skills
  • Excellent command of English language (min. B2/C1)
  • Good communication skill, team-player spirit and a can-do attitude
