Job Purpose

This role supports key accounting and financial reporting processes, with a strong focus on month‑end close, compliance with local regulations, and accuracy of financial data within a corporate/international environment.

This is a maternity leave cover (approx. ~18 months) 

Job Description

  • Support month‑end close activities, including review and analysis of transactions, general ledger accounts, and company expenditures
  • Book AP/AR invoices, business travel expenses, and cost accruals in line with local regulations and FMCTI Financial Standards
  • Prepare monthly corporate reporting and support the internal management reporting process
  • Calculate and book taxes (CIT, VAT, WHT, and others) in accordance with local regulations and FMCTI Financial Standards
  • Prepare VAT registers and SAF‑T files
  • Reconcile balance sheet G/L accounts within assigned responsibilities (ARCS)
  • Record fixed assets and depreciation postings
  • Actively participate in external and internal audits, cost reporting, and tax filings, ensuring completion by established deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and the integrity of financial data
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the Line Manager

You are meant for this job if:

  • Master’s degree in AccountingStrong English language skills – minimum B2 level
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting and/or management reporting, preferably in an international or corporate environment
  • Strong hands‑on accounting knowledge and experience with month‑end close processes
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel)
  • Very good English communication skills and ability to collaborate with Corporate HQ and international stakeholders
  • High level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and a deadline‑driven mindset
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage tasks proactively
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • High standards of confidentiality and data protection, and behavior aligned with company values, including responsibility for health and safety standards
