Job Purpose:

As Lead Engineer for RLWI Stack Operations, you will be the technical expert supporting ongoing offshore operations while leading engineering for upcoming campaigns. You will work across the RLWI value stream, ensuring robust engineering solutions, operational readiness, and continuous improvement of tools, systems, and workflows. Hands-on offshore and on-site support will be part of the role when required.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as technical lead for RLWI stack systems during offshore operations and planning phases
  • Delivering engineering solutions that meet safety, quality, and contractual requirements
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and operational risks
  • Coordinate and lead discipline engineers across projects and sites
  • Interface with clients, project teams, and other engineering functions
  • Drive knowledge sharing through mentoring, coaching, and technical guidance
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and internal processes for all technical solutions and documentation related to specific operations.

You are meant for this job if:

  • BSc / MSc in Petroleum, Subsea, Mechanical, Electronics, or similar
  • 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in lead roles
  • Strong communication skills, bridging offshore operations and onshore engineering.
  • Strong system and discipline engineering competence
  • Solid understanding of engineering processes, standards, and tools
  • Product knowledge, design insight, and cost awareness
  • Ability to lead technically complex work—locally and remotely
  • Offshore experience is an advantage
