Job Purpose

Sourcing Lead – Topside and Electronics.
At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope, and difficulty that you simply won't find anywhere else. We are looking to recruit a Sourcing Lead who can join our Global Sourcing and Procurement team within Controls and Automation to strengthen our team and drive our Supply chain Strategy within the Subsea Controls scope.

Job Description

  • Develop, grow, and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies capable of delivering best-in-class Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost results.
  • Manage and maintain an incumbent mature Supply chain specialized within the design and manufacturing of Subsea and Topside products and associated technologies.
  • Identify opportunities and suppliers that can provide goods, materials, and special processes which provide a competitive advantage to TechnipFMC in quality, delivery lead time, and reduced total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Work closely within our Global Sourcing & Procurement organization to help develop long-term supplier relationship potential, including how each party benefits from mutually beneficial collaboration.
  • Establish, communicate, and manage specific supplier improvement initiatives focused on quality, delivery reliability, cost reduction, and engineering/specification updates.
  • Monitor and report on competitive and macro/economic environment.
  • Support Procurement execution during escalation, as needed.
  • Collaborate with Engineering in identifying and implementing standardization and simplification opportunities supporting cost reduction and efficiencies.
  • As Sourcing Lead, you will report to our Global Category Manager, Topside and Electronics within Controls and Automation.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Undergraduate or Masters level degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management / Industrial Distribution (or Business equivalent), experience can compensate for lack of formal qualifications.
  • Preferably 3+ years' experience in Supply Chain Management/Sourcing/Procurement/Supplier Quality.
  • Knowledge of Subsea Controls & Automation equipment, product design & functionality with associated PCBA, Electronics, Electrical, and Mechatronic component products and associated manufacturing processes.
  • Relevant experience working within operations or supply chain environment.

•    Proficiency in communication and negotiations.
•    Ability to handle ambiguity.
•    Can manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities. 
•    Learning style supports building knowledge independently outside of structured education when required. Comfortable navigating a number of resources with the aim to support ongoing growth and CPD.
