Job Purpose

To meet the increasing demand in C&A Services Configuration, we are seeking determined and motivated Software Engineers to join our Services Configuration Engineering team. Controls and Automation delivers advanced subsea control system solutions due to good collaboration between mechatronics, electronics, software development, and delivery teams.

As our new team member, you will be part of a modern and agile Software Engineering environment where your contribution is key to delivering solutions in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, and schedules, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.

Starting in this position, you will be part of a multiregional agile team, with highly skilled teammates that will support getting you onboarded in our ways of working, products, and systems we deliver.

Job Description

  • Project software configuration for offshore operations of subsea equipment
  • Provide support during Subea operations of subsea equipment
  • Provide clear technical guidance at your project level
  • Active participation in the planning process
  • Maintenance and bug fixing
  • Close and active cooperation with QA team (use to wok with SAP on QN and SN)
  • Be an active team member prepared to provide support to unplanned events and prepared to be part of the duty phone if needed
  • Project activities and responsibilities in all phases; from requirements specification, design, development, testing, delivery, and support
  • Be an active member of the team by promoting the development of standard processes
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in other relevant TechnipFMC departments and regions 
  • Preferably with experience with Smart Tool and/or Incontrol

You are meant for this job if:

  • hold a BSc, or are an engineer with relevant experience in Computer Systems
  • have knowledge of Industrial HMI/Control Systems/SCADA
  • have experience in PLC programming for process control
  • are a team player and have strong communication skills
  • have an excellent command of English, both written and oral
