Senior Controls Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Controls Product Support Engineer who want to support our offshore adventures and join our Asset Integrity & Production Management team.
You will be part of a project team actively following up the performance of installed systems with respect to condition and performance with focus on subsea and topside control systems. As part of our team you will actively follow up and support online production control systems and support offshore jobs/campaigns.
Job Description
- 1st line support to customers and internal clients for troubleshooting and advice in operational modus for Control systems
- Technical support for offshore operations with multidiscipline teams
- Actively follow up and maintain online Condition and Performance Monitoring Systems with focus on giving advice to Customers within Controls subject matter
- Provide proactive support towards Customers
- Contribute and lead personnel through engineering, workshop testing and offshore implementation work
- Contribute to write and plan quotations, including subcontractors
- Preparations of procedures, specifications, drawings for offshore operations.
- Initiate and follow up actions and changes as required during project execution
- Contribute to Customer success through understanding needs and bring feedback to product management and development
- Travel regularly to Agotnes, Kongsberg and Aberdeen for training, Client visits and develop support network
- Be based within Agotnes or Kongsberg
You are meant for this job if:
- You have a Degree in Engineering (BSc or MSc) within electro, automation, IT, petroleum, marine etc OR equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of :
- Work experience with subsea and topside control systems, hydraulic and/or electrical systems
- Practical experience from offshore operations/workshops
- Experience from subsea engineering
- Experience working both as part of a team and independently
- Experience with virtual systems, IT networks and communication protocols
- Work experience within operation of oil & gas fields
- Experience as technical lead
- Experience in Smart Tool, In Control or similar software
- Used to work in SAP with QN and SN tasks
- Experience from working with Multi-Phase Pump systems and/or subsea processing systems
