Job Purpose

We are seeking the sharpest minds to take our world-class Subsea Production Control System technology even further. To meet new challenges and opportunities we are seeking a determined and motivated IT & Automation Engineer to join our Controls and Automation Software QA team.

 

Job Description

As an IT and Automation Engineer in the Software QA team, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain automation systems within our software lab environment. You will collaborate with our software development teams to develop standard frameworks and validate product software and applications, ensuring high quality software deliveries.

In your job you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and executing the SW tests according to the acceptance criteria for the specifications of a feature.

You are meant for this job if you are:

  • Experienced with Quality Assurance of software within Embedded systems
  • Familiar with electronics and sensors
  • Skilled with automated testing tools and test management tools
  • Bachelor's degree preferably with a specialization in Computer Science, IT and Automation or similar
  • Experienced with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, go, bash, powershell etc.)
  • Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, XP etc.)
  • Experienced with source control tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Gitlab, Github, ArgoCD, Jenkins, TravisCI etc.)
  • As a person, you are solution-oriented and structured to solve complex challenges.
  • You have relation-building abilities and work well in team-oriented environments, including cross-functional teams.
  • You have an excellent command of English, both written and oral.
