Job Purpose

Implement technical solutions within assigned discipline and subject matter areas during studies, tenders, projects, new product developments in the accordance with the organization’s agreed technical and commercial strategy with a continuous focus on quality, commercial and safety awareness, on-time and on budget delivery and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

  • Convert Technical requirements into product design in all stages from tender/FEED to execution
  • Support project and design engineers within department and other departments when required
  • Define discipline and subject matter requirements and develop competence within the group
  • Revise, create, review/approve ECNs, Part reports, Design, Design for manufacturing and Fabrication documentation and drawings, ensure engineering processes are followed within RLWI
  • Identify and analyze risks associated with engineering tasks, writing design specifications, study reports

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor or Master degree (Petroleum/Subsea/Marine/Mechanical as relevant)
  • Work experience can compensate for lack of formal competency
  • Knowledge of RLWI and Open Water systems
  • Experience with EPC projects and Subsea Services
  • Familiar with vessel operations and equipment used onboard
  • Able to work in team oriented and diverse cultural environment
  • Knowledge of materials, welding, coating requirements and manufacturing processes
  • Experienced in TFMC software, Standard OPS procedures and processes
  • Expert knowledge of Engineering Tools (NX,TCE)
  • Operational knowledge of Standards & Codes.
  • Experience in performing CAD interface checks, hydraulic and electric schematics preparation and update
  • Good command of English

  • Offshore experience
  • Design engineering background
  • Knowledge of Well Access Systems
  • Experience following up remote teams
  • Familiar with vessel operations
