Job Purpose

Are you passionate about driving strategic procurement and building impactful supplier relationships? As our Regional Indirect Category Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and executing sourcing strategies across the UK and Norway. Your work will directly influence operational excellence, cost efficiency, and supplier performance, helping us deliver outstanding results across our business.

Job Description

As a Regional Indirect Category Manager, you will:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned subcategories, ensuring alignment with global procurement goals.
  • Lead supplier relationship management, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and governance.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, assess risks, and explore new supplier opportunities.
  • Drive cost management initiatives by optimizing supplier efficiency and reducing operational waste.
  • Engage stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs and ensure compliance.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Champion safety, quality, delivery, and cost in all supplier interactions.
  • Travel will be of regular amount for this job

You are meant for this job if:

  • You have 5–8 years of experience in sourcing and procurement, ideally with exposure to indirect categories.
  • You’re a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and can interpret market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • You’re a skilled communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and build trust quickly.
  • You have contracting experience and understand key negotiation levers.
  • You’re detail-oriented, organized, and have a lean mindset for process improvement.
  • You’re proficient in Microsoft tools like Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and Outlook.
