Job Purpose
In Controls & Automation product line we are developing the technology platforms for the electrification of Subsea Control Systems and enabling of renewable energy sources like offshore wind, hydrogen, and wave.
Electronics R&D team is working within a wide range of technologies including analogue electronics, FPGA, SoC, power design, safety design, motor controllers, processor design and power line modems. These technologies are utilized in the different control system applications.
In Controls & Automation at TechnipFMC you will be involved in design, development, qualification, system integration and production of new products throughout commissioning and introduction to field operation. The development environment is multidisciplinary with HW, SW, system, test, mechatronics, and production engineering.
You have competence within one or more of the areas below:
- Digital electronics, including MCU/CPU architecture, SoC and FPGA
- Analog electronics, including discrete design with Opamps, transistors etc Schematic design/PCB Layout, preferably in Altium Designer or similar tool
- Power electronics of different topologies either in the AC or DC domain.
- Power line comm modems
You are meant for this job if:
- BSc or MSc in electronics, automation, cybernetics, or similar engineering
- Capable of structural approach to solve complex problems
- Open-minded, speak professional English, and adaptable for working
in multicultural environment - Continuously raising standards, innovative and solution oriented.
- Having interest in electronics is an additional advantage
