Job Description
The CPM software consists of many individual modules, that represent each type of installable subsea equipment, to allow for the accurate digital representation and monitoring of a wide range of subsea installable equipment, whether it be Subsea Production System, SURF, Processing or New Energy. CPM is delivered in combination with the Subsea Controls System and is a key enabler for growing TechnipFMC's digitally driven aftermarket services.
Our team is the global owner of the CPM software application, responsible for developing, maintaining and improving the application and its functionalities. This is done in close cooperation with the main users of our application, internal service organizations and our end customers, as well as the teams responsible for the hardware products. Working with online data, we can monitor equipment condition and performance in real time to help our customers optimise equipment performance and service life, while also supporting the NPD and PLM lifecycle of TechnipFMC's product portfolio.
The Condition and Performance Monitoring (CPM) team has a global footprint within the Controls and Automation division of TechnipFMC. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team, working with global product owners and user groups, and other stakeholders across the global organisation. We are looking for a motivated engineering professional interested in joining and contributing to the digital transformation of the subsea industry.
Main Tasks:
- Product ownership of CPM modules
- Actively engaged in CPM application development, improvements and standardization, based on the detailed understanding of monitored product
- Supporting service organization with maintenance of existing application installations.
- Actively engaged in further evolution of our understanding and implementation of the condition monitoring subject matter and the methods we apply.
You are meant for this job if:
- Master's degree in engineering or equivalent, applicants with a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience may also be considered
- Have a strong understanding of physics and/or subsea technology
- Have a thorough understanding of mathematics/statistics and/or Machine Learning
- Confidence in programming. We typically use a combination of Java and Python
- Familiarity with Condition Monitoring and System Engineering concepts
- Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills
- Are excited by working with multi-discipline challenges and tasks
- Ability to effectively operate in the global project team environment
- Excellent command of English
