We are looking for a Planner!

We are seeking a Planner to join our Kongsberg team! We encourage recent Graduates to apply. 

As a Planner in the Material Management team at TechnipFMC, you will work closely with various functions in Production and Operations Management, including Master Scheduling, Material Planning, Production Planning, and Warehouse and Inventory Management. This role aims to provide a well-rounded experience in material management, leading to future opportunities within the team.

At our Kongsberg manufacturing plant, we specialize in Subsea Controls Equipment, serving global demands. As demand grows, we are adopting data-driven solutions and digitalizing planning and warehouse management. 

Job Description

As a Planner with us you will rotate through individual departments like Production Planning, Material Planning, Warehouse Management and Master scheduling to immerse in the world of manufacturing operations. Learn state of the art SAP system, other applications like, Manufacturing Operations Management (MoM), Power BI tools etc. 

Example of highlighted tasks in this role:

   

Material Planning:
•    Create and maintain material master data and product BOMs at plant level in eMM and SAP (4) Run and analyze supply chain impact for engineering changes.
•    Participate in change review meetings for engineering changes
•    Ensure optimization of material planning for dependent demand based on routing and/or scheduling data. Create and maintain requisitons 
•    Analyse SAP MRP output and take required actions. 

     

Production Planning:
•    Serves as the primary point of contact for the day to day Production Plan sequence to the Manager Production Planning.
•    Interface with Project / Material Planning to establish “Clean to Build” supply of product. Develop contingency plans to orders that miss available capacity or components.
•    Interact with shop floor personnel, production/manufacturing engineering teams and materials planners to define  countermeasures, inform master Production Scheduler and other material planners about any identified risks.

      

Master Scheduling:
•    Responsible for forecasting Controls and Automation product demand in relation to the Sub-system demand. Consolidate all C&A Product demand including all Backlog and Forecast to maintain Demand Plan for different products on a monthly basis.
•    Responsible for all matrix related to C&A Sales and Operations Planning; OTD and ADL reporting on a monthly basis
•    Enters and releases Intercompany Purchase orders. Maintains order due dates in system based on the Project schedule.
•    Regularly interfaces with Materials department, Engineering, and Project teams when making decisions requiring judgment or resolving issues requiring creative solutions. 

     

Warehouse Management:
•    Prepare and coordinate Inventory Stock Counting, and proactively conduct regular Stock Inventory Audits internally.
•    Esablish Inventory reports and analysis on demand.
•    In collaboration with Finance, be able to identify and investigate errors with Material Transactions when they ocure, and rectify/correct these.
•    Identify, promote and participate in improvements tasks within Warehouse Organization. Support testing of new demands and processes
   
 
 

You are meant for this job if:

•    A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, engineering, or a related field 
•    Some knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and materials planning principles preferred
•    Analytical and problem-solving skills along with strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments, suppliers, and other stakeholders
•    The manufacturing operations environment can change rapidly, so adaptability is important for responding to unexpected disruptions and managing changing requirements
•    Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and coaching and respond appropriately.
•    Flexible and open to improvement changes. Understanding and communication within a diverse cultural environment is critical
