Job Purpose

We are looking for a talented and motivated Full Stack Software Developer to join our Data and Systems Orchestration Team in Kongsberg, Norway. The Team is responsible for development and lifecycle management of the application framework for real time condition monitoring and multiphase flow applications in subsea oil and gas.

In this role, you will contribute to the design and implementation of modern software solutions, including REST-based microservices and intuitive user interfaces built with React. You will work as part of a skilled engineering team, developing high-quality software that is clean, maintainable, and testable.

The ideal candidate has experience with web development, frontend user interface design, REST services, and modern software engineering practices. Knowledge of SQL databases is also considered an advantage.

You will also encounter and work with Rust in our daily development environment. Fluency in Rust is not a requirement for this position, but interest in learning and working with Rust is considered a plus.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain REST-based microservices
  • Design and implement user-friendly React-based web interfaces
  • Write clean, readable, maintainable, and testable code
  • Contribute to software architecture and technical design discussions
  • Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Ensure that solutions meet quality, performance, and maintainability standards
  • Work with and learn from technologies used across the team, including Rust

Technologies you will be working with:

You are meant for this job if:

  • Master degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years related experience
  • Experience with web development including GUI design
  • Experience with REST services
  • Knowledge of SQL databases
