Job Purpose

Advise and ensure correct reporting related to movement of goods to/from Norway towards other countries in accordance with rules and regulations in order to minimize financial risk and ensure compliance (VAT).

Job Description

  • Understand laws and regulations for export and import, also related to VAT.
  • Operate Customs archive “EDOC”, implement/operate EDOC customs archive related to invoice control.
  • Invoice matching (fakturamatch); match invoices to customs declarations.
  • Responsible for maintaining solid control routines for preliminary import and export, and progress invoices matching deliveries.
  • Day to day control of customs activities related to VAT, correct documents and procedures.
  • Manage change requests with customs authorities.
  • Follow up routines related to temporary import/export.
  • Prepare, calculate and report import VAT monthly.
  • Implementation of new process for import declarations before March 2025.
  • Conduct training in the field of customs for employees.

You are meant for this job if you have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent
  • 2 to 4 years of experience with logistics/finance 
  • Ability to solve complexity related to movements of goods and coherent VAT implications in line with laws and regulations
  • Fluent in English
  • Detail oriented
