Job Purpose

At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope, and difficulty that you simply won't find anywhere else. We are looking to recruit a Sourcing Lead who can join our Global Sourcing and Procurement team within OEM Engineered Systems to strengthen our team and drive our Supply chain Strategy within the Subsea Controls scope.

Develop, execute and maintain a comprehensive category strategy at the global level for the assigned products scope. Implement and maintain the best supply chain to support the business.
 

Job Description

•    Responsible for multiple OEM sub-categories
•    Develop, execute and maintain a comprehensive category strategy capable of delivering results for assigned category at the global level.
•    Monitor and report on competitive and macro/economic environment.
•    Work with key internal stakeholders, including but not limited to, technology and applications engineering, sales & operations, Manufacturing, contracting and projects to clearly identify key requirements for both the Category and respective BU
•    Work in a matrix organization (other category leads, supplier quality engineers, subject matter experts, tactical buyers) across all TFMC locations.
•    Must demonstrate ability to develop, improve and implement processes, policies and procedures that impacts the function.
•    Provide tools and guidance for category team members to develop, execute and sustain specific supply chain strategies within the category.
•    Continue to develop Category cost improvement strategies and targets for specific products. 
•    Collaborate with Engineering in identifying and implementing standardization and simplification opportunities supporting cost reduction and efficiencies.

You are meant for this job if:

•    Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent. Formal education can be replaced by long term work experience.
•    Preferably 3+ years' experience in Supply chain Management/Sourcing/Procurement/Supplier Quality/Product management.
•    Excellent interpersonal skills to manage suppliers and internal stakeholders' relationships.
•    Can manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities.
•    Proficiency in communication and negotiations
•    Excellent problem-solving skills
•    Knowledge of manufacturing processes
•    Frequent travel may be required.
