Job Purpose

Provides general administrative support to a department or group of professionals. Work is performed under general supervision and requires incumbents to exercise some independence and discretion. The role may also provide secretarial services to one or more individuals.

Job Description

• Collects, assembles, analyses and summarizes statistics and information from a variety of sources as directed

• Prepares charts, graphs and tables for presentations or inclusion in reports

• Issues regular reports and ad hoc analyses following established procedures

• Routes or answers routine correspondence not requiring supervisor attention

• Deals with external sources such as customers, partners and suppliers in order to resolve non-routine problems

• May proceed logistics/ travel arrangements and solve related issues, providing assistance and guidance to employees

• May assist in selection of potential new recruits

• May train and manage a small group of less senior employees and oversees the quality of their work

You are meant for this job if:

• Professional diploma in the discipline with a minimum 2 years of experience or 5 years of practical administrative experience

• Fluent in English
