Job Purpose
The job purpose is to support offshore operations by monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining topside and subsea control systems. The role involves working on a rotational basis, preparing progress reports, and ensuring hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment to maintain operational efficiency in the region.
Job Description
- Working offshore on a rotational basis to support our clients' operations in Indonesia.
- Performing daily monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance of the topside and subsea controls system.
- Daily and monthly progress reporting are a requirement of the job as well as keeping in close contact with the regional TechnipFMC subsea services team.
- The role is on a 4-weeks rotational basis and when not offshore the engineer will support other fields in the region.
- As part of the role, the candidate is expected to be able to perform hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment
You are meant for this job if:

Bachelor's degree in Controls & Automation or equivalent with minimum 2 years offshore experience

Experience in operating TechnipFMC or other vendors topside and subsea controls systems

Experience in operating SPCU/EPU, MCS/SCU, HPU, Safety Systems, SCADA, PLC and DCS.

Knowledge and understanding of subsea instrumentation and controls

Understanding of topside and subsea networks, basic network troubleshooting.

Offshore safety and survival certification (BOSIET, etc.)

Good communication skills (in both verbal and written English for progress reporting and engineering procedure writing)

Physically fit and able to lift equipment up to 20kgs in weight
