Job Purpose

Issues design/fabrication plans and/or installation sketches/animation for SSE's projects and operations (from proposal to execution), in accordance with design and manufacturing standards and processes, schedule, and man hours. Apply intermediate knowledge of drafting, design and surface wellhead product. Creates mechanical design for parts, subassemblies, assemblies or system configuration using CAD/CAM.

Job Description

 Achieves design plans and detailed CAD (computer aided-design) models.

Follow and comply the HSE Policies, procedures, active participate in the HSE programs and meeting requirements.

Learns TechnipFMC’s design practices, systems, processes, and procedures.

Prepares varied CAD detail and assembly drawings from sketches, mark-up prints and other reference materials under the direction of senior level Drafters, Supervisor, Designers, Engineers or Sales Personnel.

Creates preliminary drawings with complete dimensional data for engineering and manufacturing purposes that are neat and completed in a timely fashion. Reviews drawings for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to applicable design drafting standards.

Creates final production detail drawings.

Prepares intermediate level sales or sequence drawings as directed.

Exhibits effective team communication and collaboration skills.

Performs drafting review of low-level detail drawings and assemblies.

Learns to calculate dimensional tolerance requirements to ensure proper assembly fit according to design requirements defined by Engineers.

Prepares CAD assembly drawings to verify adequate assembly fit and function.

Understand the intermediate information of DBI (Data Base Information), GWI, ISO and ASME for drafting practices.

Ensures conformance to all policies and procedures related to drafting functions, labor reporting and systems reporting.

Analyze trends or deviation from standards.

Performs administrative and related responsibilities as assigned.

May assist in creating and reviewing the accessories part in drafting/drawing library.

May participate in FMC designer or drafter community.

May participate in product standardization activities.

You are meant for this job if:

• AA degree in technical/scientific field or equivalent

• 2 to 4 years of experience in drafting or related field

• Intermediate knowledge of drafting, design, testing standards and tools

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities and solve problems

• Ability to work in a team-oriented and diverse cultural environment

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
