Job Purpose

Role Summary / Purpose:

  • Support Tender Leads to deliver complex/large commercial proposals to Subsea for SPS subsystems: execution strategy, cost and benchmarks, schedule, risks & opportunities…
  • Help to manage the handover to the project execution teams within REMS upon Contract Award to ensure successful startup of projects. 
  • Support and work on process improvement initiatives across the global tendering team.
  • Develop a strong understanding of products, clients and supply chain to provide competitive proposals meeting Clients’ requirements and TechnipFMC overall business strategy and objectives.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Tender Coordination / Management
  • Key focal point between Subsea and REMS, responsible for the delivery of the whole REMS subsystem tender package to Subsea, for complex / large bids
  • Manage Tender Milestones to ensure on time delivery to Subsea / Customer
  • Prepare & Coordinate for Tender meetings. 
  • Prepare Commercial packages and present/submit to local Tender Leads for approval.
  • Prepare final proposal & all necessary supporting documents for a Tender package.

Cost

  • Develop products Costing BOM with Engineering 
  • Coordinate Requests For Quotation from Supply Chain / Manufacturing / Engineering / Project Administration
  • Update cost (utilizing Last Price Paid/Tendered, Quotations, iTender, SAP)
  • Coordinate Reviews to ensure all costs are captured accurately. 
  • Transfer data to iTwo, ensuring all data captured correctly. 
  • Prepare product cost benchmark / waterfall (where applicable)

Qualifications, Exceptions, Risks and Opportunities

  • Identify and record any exceptions applicable to the tender in order to clarify REMS position and any impact.
  • Ascertain if any relevant lessons learned from previous & ongoing projects should be considered. 
  • Identify potential project execution risks and opportunities in the Risk Register, evaluate impacts (Cost / Schedule) and propose mitigations.
  • Summarize key risks & opportunities for Senior Leadership review during tender submission.

Project Handover to REMS execution teams

  • Prepare and facilitate the handover of the project to the Project Manufacturing Manager, to ensure a clean and fast project startup. 
  • Organize and clarify Tender package for PMM, Planner, Engineering and Cost Controllers
  • Support the Accept Order Process and ensure REMS and Subsea are fully aligned on budget and schedule requirements.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or related discipline. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both written and spoken English. 
  • Diligent, meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives


Other desirable competencies:

  • Experience working with SAP
  • Schedule elaboration in MS Project or Primavera
  • Experience working in a LEAN environment.
