Job Purpose

  • Support Tender Leads in the execution of commercial proposals for SPS subsystems, focusing on product costing and execution plan
  • Lead low complexity tenders
  • Develop and maintain standard product cost catalogues and benchmarks
  • Analyze tender KPIs to identify potential areas for improvement and to make our bids more competitive
  • Lead simple process improvement actions across the global tendering team  
  • Develop a good understanding of a few SPS products, clients and supply chain to provide competitive proposals meeting Clients’ requirements and TechnipFMC overall business strategy and objectives.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

Qualifications, Exceptions, Risks and Opportunities

  • Identify and record any exceptions applicable to the tender in order to clarify REMS position and any impact
  • Tender Coordination / Management

    • Focal point between Subsea and REMS, responsible for the delivery of the whole REMS subsystem tender package to Subsea, for low complexity / small bids (supervised by a Tender Lead)
    • Coordinate cross-functiona contributors from REMS
    • Manage Tender Milestones to ensure on time delivery to Subsea / Customer
    • Prepare & Lead Tender meetings with the team
    • Prepare Commercial packages and present/submit to Senior Leadership for approval
    • Submit final proposal & all necessary supporting documents to Subsea
    • Internal customers/stakeholders are located in all major TechnipFMC locations: USA, Canada, Brazil, Norway, UK, France, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia

     

    Project Execution plan & schedule

    • Refine existing REMS execution strategies to meet Clients requirements
    • Collect schedule inputs from Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain and work with Planning resources to create the project execution schedule
    • Analyze Critical Path items, identify schedule risks and propose corrective actions to meet Clients delivery requirements

     

    Cost

    • Refine existing products Costing BOM with Engineering to match Clients requirements
    • Coordinate Requests For Quotation from Supply Chain / Manufacturing / Engineering / Project Administration
    • Update cost (utilising Last Price Paid/Tendered, Quotations, iTender, SAP)
    • Coordinate Peer Review to ensure all costs are captured accurately
    • Transfer data to iTwo, ensuring all data captured correctly
    • Prepare product cost benchmark / waterfall (where applicable)
