Job Purpose

  •  Deliver a complete and compliant Subsea System Engineering solution that meets customer project requirements while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely execution. • Establish, manage, and maintain the project system requirements and ensure alignment across all sub-systems and disciplines. • Prepare and maintain key system engineering documents—such as Design Basis/System Specification, Field Layouts, MEL, Spare Parts & Tagging philosophy, P&IDs, test philosophies, and other system-level documentation—ensuring technical accuracy and system integrity. • Act as the technical focal point for customer, internal teams, and stakeholders, providing leadership in system design, interfaces, compliance, and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Description

 Delivering a robust, integrated Subsea System Engineering solution that ensures system integrity across multiple sub-systems and interfaces. • Managing multi-center engineering execution, coordinating across global teams, disciplines, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project requirements. • Ensuring that system requirements, customer specifications, and regulatory demands are correctly interpreted, implemented, and validated across all engineering deliverables. • Handling numerous project technical interfaces, resolving design conflicts, and maintaining consistent communication across internal and external teams. • Ensuring system engineering documents are delivered with high technical accuracy.

  • Act in compliance with TechnipFMC core values, demonstrating proactive leadership in HSE and Quality. • Plan and execute project mobilization activities as required by the project engineering manager. • Establish project system requirements and ensure all product lines comply with the approved Design Basis/System Specification. • Prepare and issue system-level documents and drawings as per the MDR, including: a. Design Basis / System Specification b. Field Layouts c. MEL and Tagging Philosophy d. P&IDs, System Schematics e. Outline Test Program f. System test philosophies • Identify, define, and manage all technical interfaces (internal and external), ensuring system integrity and successful integration across product lines. • Lead and participate in internal and external technical meetings, clarifications, and review boards. • Ensure customer requirements, regulatory compliance, and TechnipFMC strategy are fully captured in system documentation. • Conduct or oversee system analyses as per MDR, including ROV access studies, system stack‑up checks, and operability reviews. • Prepare, review, or support preparation of system test documentation, including test procedures and operational readiness documents. • Support and participate in project close‑out activities including as‑built documentation, lessons learned, and close‑out reporting. • Ensure compliance with Engineering Work Processes (BPMS/GBPMS) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. • Communicate effectively across global and cross‑functional teams, promoting collaboration and consistent technical understanding. • Act as the technical authority for the system scope, resolving technical issues and driving decisions to maintain project progress.
