Subcontract Specialist III

The Subcontracts Representative plays a key supporting role within the Global Category Management team, with a focus on execution support across offshore manning, pre-commissioning, and survey scopes. This is a dynamic and evolving position, ideal for someone who thrives in a cross-functional environment and is comfortable managing internal interfaces across project and regional teams.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Call-Offs in alignment with project requirements and global frame agreements.

  • Ensure commitments are accurately reflected in procurement systems and aligned with project forecasts.

  • Act as the primary subcontracts liaison between the category team and project/regional stakeholders.

  • Maintain and update package-level forecasts in collaboration with project controls and buyers.

  • Track and process scope changes, ensuring timely updates to commitments and budgets.

  • Ensure alignment between actuals, forecasts, and approved commitments.
  • Provide administrative support for offshore manning, pre-commissioning, and survey scopes.

  • Coordinate with relevant technical and operational teams to ensure timely mobilization and demobilization of subcontracted personnel and services.

  • Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies, frame agreements, and applicable EBAs.

  • Maintain accurate records of approvals, rate confirmations, and contractual documentation.

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement, subcontracts, or project support roles within the energy or engineering sectors.

  • Experience in subcontract management, specifically within offshore projects environments.

  • Experience in managing and coordinating with overseas subcontractors, ensuring compliance and performance across international operations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement systems.
