Job Purpose

Provides technically complex engineering solutions in particularly challenging project environments in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures and processes, schedules and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

  • Developing of new suppliers for upcoming projects. Conducting Supplier NDE Audits and release of audit report. 
  • Quality manual and / or Written Practice for NDE, Validate and Authorize NDT procedures, Written instructions or techniques sheets, Report sheets, Document and record control 
  • Company based training and mentoring, quality systems, procedures, mastering skills, site experience and evaluation. 
  • Calibration, Functionality and operational checks, Inspection site management, Company manufacturing unit: management of NDT related documents and records. 
  • To Support Design & Engineering Team - XT, Manifold & Interconnect, Wellhead and Completion system for NDT related queries, ESMDR review and approval of NDT documentation 
  • SME for NDT and provide guidance on use of cost-effective NDT solutions, Gap analysis between Customer & Contractor technical specifications, Inspection planning and scope selection. 
  • Responsible for NDT activities adhere to and conform with API, ASME, AWS, Norsok, DNV, Engineering Specifications, customer Specifications and design requirements. 
  • Assists with the training program that will educate attendees about the different NDT processes and their capabilities, Manage quality systems and resources, Ensure compliance with code and client requirements, Inspection problem solving and dispute resolution 
  • Review process effectiveness and modify if required, Probability of detection and evaluation of procedure validity, Statistical analysis of inspection results and personnel performance, Support Global Core technology team to develop or modify Specifications. 

You are meant for this job if:

• BS degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent with 10 years of experience in the field • Strong technical skills in engineering • Strong project management skills • Good presentation and coaching skills • Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills • Understanding customer requirements and ability to translate them into product specifications • Excellent command of English

Additional Skills

Essential:

  • Certified Level III as per ASNT or PCN or ISO 9712 in UT, RT, MT & PT methods is required. 

  • 10 years of NDT experience – preferably in Oil and Gas domain 

Software packages - SAP, Microsoft Access, Project, Word, Excel and Powerpoint Teamwork, open/flexible approach

Desirable:

Certification and experience in PAUT / TOFD is preferred

HSE appreciation.
