Job Purpose

  • Ensure the highest level of quality in our products by performing Quality checks of the Internal manufacturing records according to Industry, Engineering & Project Requirements.
  • Responsible for identifying any discrepancies or inconsistencies Internal manufacturing records as per technical specifications, drawings, testing methods.
  • This includes complex technical review of various Test certificates and reports to make decision on Authorization TechnipFMC Parts Shipment.
  • Work within existing systems towards resolving the TechnipFMC Non-Conformance Report - by Review, Creation, Coordination and Closure activities.
  • Collaborate with Plant Quality, Engineering, Planning, Delivery and Project team to ensure TechnipFMC product MRBs Quality and Delivery targets are achieved.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering/Master of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering)
  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience in Quality Function. (Assurance/Control)
  • Shall have thorough Technical Understanding on Industry Standards (API, ISO, ASME, ASTM, NORSOK, DNV), Engineering practices, Manufacturing techniques, Material Engineering, Destructive and Non-destructive Testing, Measuring Instruments, and Engineering Drawing
  • Shall be able to identify and understand the technical details of various certificates and reports associated with Manufacturing Processes and Testing of materials.
  • Hands on experience in complex review of Reports related to various Manufacturing and Special Processes such as Non-Destructive Examination (PT, MT, UT, PAUT, RT), Heat Treatment, Welding, Coating, etc.
  • Shall be able to read, interpret & make decision on acceptance of various reports as per the Industry and TechnipFMC standards/Engineering Requirements/Project Requirements.
  • Shall be able to read, and interpret Engineering Drawing requirements related to Dimensions, GD & T, Welding, Coating, Lifting, and Markings.
  • Shall have Hands on Experience on Document Management System by using various tools & applications.
  • Thorough experience in using various applications for the day-to-day execution – Outlook (email), Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) and SAP/ERP (any other relevant).
  • Shall have hands on experience on resolving Non-Conformances.
  • Shall have hands on experience in Quality & Lean Tools for problem solving.
  • Shall have Good Communication skills to work with Global Functional teams.
  • Must be capable of demonstrating mentoring and training skills.
  • Flexibility to work in different shifts based on the need (Global regions: US/ER).

Major Responsibilities

  • Compile Final Products Deliverable - Manufacturing Record Books as per Customer/Project requirements.
  • Perform Progressive Quality checks of Internal TechnipFMC Products Manufacturing reports according to engineering & project requirements.
  • Perform Final MRB Quality checks of TechnipFMC Products MRBs (Manufacturing Record Books) to authorize the shipment of parts according to engineering & project requirements.
  • Drives internal Non-conformances report creation/coordination/closure through SAP/Intelex.
  • Resolve non-conformance findings by closely working with internal stakeholders (Plant Quality & Project Quality).
  • Drive Supplier/Internal Non-conformances report through creation/coordination/closure of NCRs through SAP/Intelex.
  • Work/Coordinate with Project Quality/Project Management team to ensure specific TechnipFMC project deliverables are meeting to Project/Customer Quality Delivery requirements.
  • Execute new scope of work within the team.
  • Maintain/Share Lessons learnt or Best Practices with the team.
  • Attend internal stakeholder’s meetings to address non conformances.
  • Participate in process standardization & Value stream activities. Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Coordinate with Plant Quality/Project team on NOIs by notifying TPI/Project Quality to get timely approval and release of IRNs.
  • Execute root cause analysis (RCA). Work on Containment, Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) on identified process GAPs to meet the global procedure requirements.
  • Investigate and address customer complaints and non-conformances received from TPI.
